Alicante Nightlife

Alicante nightlife has plenty of places for all tastes to enjoy and have fun all year round. ´El Barrio Antiguo´ in the old area of town is indeed one of the most cheerful areas with lots of pubs and discos to have a drink or listen to live music. There are also taverns, restaurants and movie theatres in this area with nearby streets full of trendy coffee shops, luxury restaurants and night clubs.

Another place to enjoy nightlife in Alicante city is the marina, visited by tourists and locals alike. This area has a wide choice of outdoor dining, night spots, bars, restaurants and cafeterias with some places open till dawn.

An alternative place to go and have a good time is the area between Alfonso X and Alicante Explanade. This is a lively zone full of sophisticated restaurants, pubs and nightclubs mostly decorated in wood.

In summer people gather at night around the ´chiringuitos´ of San Juan and Postiguet beaches, outdoor wooden bars where people dance till the early hours.
